ABOUT EMINENTVILLE SCHOOLS

Who We Are

Eminentville Schools is an international co-educational school which runs a hybrid curriculum that comprises of the American, British and Nigerian curriculum. Our curriculum encourages taking the book and board activity into a more practical approach to learning by bringing the subject to life and connecting it to the real world. Our topic-based approach to learning will prepare your wards for international exams, life-long learning skills and leadership qualities for the 21st century. We would challenge, support and develop all our pupils/students to excel. We do not accept excuses and will ensure that all barriers to learning are removed and overcome. In other words, we believe that everything is possible to accomplish.

Indigenous languages, as well as international languages, are taught to restore our cultural heritage and to celebrate diversity within a positive school atmosphere. We place a priority on boosting our children’s confidence level by engaging them in a compulsory defence programme that will prepare them to recognize, avoid and defuse dangerous situations.  Our goal is to build academic competence, dedicated, courageous and disciplined students. Our students will be prepared and exposed to exams such as Cambridge International Primary Checkpoint (CIPP), International General Certificate for Secondary Schools (IGSE), West African Examination Council (WAEC), (NECO) and the likes.

Eminentville is located in a serene environment with beautifully landscaped grounds. We have a large open campus with an extensive garden area and outdoor space for the pupils/students to learn and enjoy the wonderful aura of nature.

Our Nursery, Primary and High school will commence on September 2018 and will run to the end of June 2019. The school day starts at 7:45 am and ends at 1 pm for the Nursery, 3 pm for the Primary and 3:30 pm for the High School with two break periods in between the schedule for the day.

The school is structured to:

  • Admit pupils within the age range of 1 to 15 years.
  • Provide a qualitative standard of education that is equivalent to schools in the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
  • Have quality and well-experienced tutors to bring out the hidden potentials in our pupils/students.
  • Provide extra-curricular activities.
  • Have a spacious class which can accommodate a maximum of 20 pupils/students per class, enabling the tutors to facilitate learning in the different study groups with our quick intervention plan.
  • Have the level six pupils sit for the University of Cambridge International Primary Checkpoint Examination.
  • Prepare students for national and international examinations.
  • Offer interactive, project-based, blended teaching and learning.
  • Constantly monitor, review and update our curriculum in light of any new development.
